Snoring & Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Testing and Treatment Program
Does your family complain about your constant snoring?
Do you feel sleepy during the day – even after a “good” night’s sleep?
You may suffer from chronic snoring…or your snoring may be a sign of a serious disorder called obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
OSA occurs when breathing is interrupted during sleep. Risk factors for sleep apnea include:
• Excessive weight
• Pregnancy

• Heavy smoking
• High blood pressure
• Allergies |
• Sedative medications

• Family history |
Left untreated, sleep apnea can lead to serious health problems including high blood pressure, stroke, heart failure, irregular heartbeats and heart attacks. Untreated sleep apnea can also impair your performance on the job and put you at greater risk for auto accidents.
